My favorite game of 2023 is the Resident Evil 4 Remake. RE4 is a competent remake that takes the foundation from the original and brings it to perfection. Honestly, I love everything that Capcom does. The polished visuals, sound design, and meticulous details immerse you in the atmosphere of a gloomy village. The game developers approached the remake of this game skillfully and seriously.

The characters have changed noticeably. Ashley is now a useful partner, sometimes assisting in battle. Luis won my heart with his charm and humor, and it's enjoyable to watch their interactions with Leon. Kennedy himself has become more balanced and serious, acquiring more masculine features, and his snow-white hair shines brighter than before.

As for the plot, it is now more cohesive and less absurd. Boss battles have become more challenging and interesting, thanks to new weapons and achievements. I was surprised that the changes also affected minor plot quests, introducing new weapons and the ability to complete the game on four difficulty levels.

In my opinion, this game is truly worth the money. It offers a substantial amount of gameplay, and I would recommend it to everyone. But perhaps this opinion stems from the perspective of a dedicated fan of the Resident Evil series.
